Science Morning 2020
The morning of Wednesday 22nd January 2020 was science morning. The children enjoyed a round robin of events which included: making and learning about fossils, labeling the parts of a plant, exploring forces by flying rocket bottles (although the rockets did get stuck in the trees TWICE), making cotton wheel cars, making parachutes, learning about different forces, making spinners, healthy eating, learning about human organs and also taking part in an ice experiment.
The children were asked, 'What is science?' They were taught that science is the study of the world around us and that we learn this through investigations.
