Welcome to Koala Class! 

Hello Team! I hope you have all had a lovely, relaxing Summer holiday and are looking forward to returning back to school later on this week. I am very excited to welcome you all into Koala class and to teach you some very exciting topics this academic year! As it is getting close to us returning back to school, please take a look at some new documents I have updated onto our class page. These include, Year 4 Long term plan and class timetable (below). The planning and sticky vocabulary for this half term has been uploaded onto the topic section. I have also uploaded a copy of the Autumn Newsletter that will be handed out once we return to school. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your holidays and I look forward to seeing you all on Friday for a very exciting term ahead!

Autumn 1 - Why were the Romans so powerful and did we learn anything from them?

Our big question for this half term explores the powerful lives of the Romans! Take a look at the topic section of our class page to find out more information!

P.E

Our P.E lessons will be on a Tuesday afternoon. Please ensure that your child brings their P.E kit to school as they will get changed into their kit. Please make sure that their P.E kit is labelled with their names, along with their P.E bags also labelled. Long hair must be tied back and no jewellery is to be worn.

 

Forest School 

We will be participating in Forest School sessions on a Wednesday afternoon. Our first session will be on Wednesday 8th September. These sessions will run up until Christmas. Please ensure that your child brings their Forest School Kit to school, with their clothing items labelled. They will get changed into their Forest school kit before the session. Their kit must be in a bag that is clearly labelled with their name on. A separate letter will be handed out with more information.  Alternatively, please click on the 'Forest School' tab of the website to keep up to date with what we get up to in the Forest each week.
