Dear Children & Parents,

As part of our work over the coming weeks, I want to create a book with a series of diary extracts from ‘The Shark Family’. That means the children in the class, the parents and relatives of the children and the staff of the children in school who have an impact on our class – I really want to get everyone involved! Who knows – it might eventually become a classic!

Please don’t feel like you have to do an entry every day – I would just like all of the children to participate at some point across the time we have off.

I want everyone to be honest too – if you’re mad and angry about something – share it. If you’re excited about something – share it. If you’re frustrated with your child or parents and they’re doing your head in – share it! Please remember not to offend anyone though – your child or parent is fine but others are not!

As you can see from the start, I am more than happy to add pictures in it too. I want you to share your selfies and family shots. Let’s try to make it something that we can look upon in the future and hopefully smile about once we have come through it.

Finally, I don’t plan on sending out too much work before the Easter Holidays, however if you do require more, then please let me know. I will be led and guided by yourselves throughout this period.
