This week has been our final week learning about bears. To finish the topic we have been focusing on the story Teddy Bear’s Picnic. We decided to have our own teddy bear’s picnic to celebrate the end of our topic. During the week we made teddy bear party hats and jam sandwiches. We also wrote invitations to our bears, inviting them to our picnic.
On Thursday the children brought in their teddy bears and we had a party afternoon. We played lots of different games! We played musical statues, musical bumps and four corners. We also practised our dance moves to the Cha Cha Slide. After all of our games and dancing we sat down for our own Teddy Bear’s Picnic and we finally got to eat our delicious jam sandwiches.
I was so impressed with the children’s behaviour on such an exciting afternoon and it was a real pleasure to help them organise their party. Well done Sheep Class.
