    Koalas - Woolly Mammoths

23 September 2019 (by Mrs Marsh (koalas))

For our history topic this half-term, the children are learning all about the Stone Age and have been learning about the different animals that were around then.

Our first topic in English is instructions. To link the subjects English and History together, we have been reading the story ‘How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth’. In the run up to writing their own set of instructions, the children have been learning how to follow verbal instructions to draw, paint and sketch some artwork, as well as follow written instructions to make a model woolly mammoth, using a milk bottle.

The children have loved creating these and I am sure you can agree that they all look fantastic!!
