What a lovely morning we have had with our parents in Elephant class! Today they joined us for our first workshop of the year which was all about phonics. We showed them what a Year 1 phonics lesson looks like before completing lots of fun activities, including making 'ee,what can you see?' glasses, scooping for oo words, using the whisper phones to practice our phonemes and playing different games. We also ended with a group game of bingo to practice our blending. Thank you so much to parents for attending. We are really enjoying working with you all this year.
