I can't believe we are half way through the holidays already however myself and Mrs Booker are very excited for the year ahead!

I have uploaded some documents to our school website so you and your child know what to expect in the first term of Year 1. If you follow the link below you will find our plan for the term, our sticky vocabulary, knowledge organiser and long term plan for the year. If you navigate to the letters section of the website you will find our first class newsletter that details important information like the expectations of homework and the date of our exciting pirate party day!

On both the knowledge organiser and term plan you will see details of the children's first pre-learning task. I would like every child to create a pirate using media of their choice! They have until Monday 11th September to complete this task and merits will be awarded for creativity.

I hope you enjoy the remaining weeks of the holiday and I hope the children are looking forward to their new learning adventure in Year One!
