What a fantastic medieval day we had yesterday! A huge thank you to parents for making such an effort with the children's outfits. We started our day by making medieval strawberry tarts ready for our banquet in the afternoon. After, we participated in medieval entertainment including archery and juggling like a jester. We learnt about coat of arms and what different symbols represent. We then designed our own making sure the symbols we used represented us. In the afternoon we had a medieval banquet (a huge thank you to the FOS for funding this!) and we learnt a medieval dance routine. We had so much fun and I'm so proud of how the children have engaged with our History work this term. Take a look at some pictures below.
