Stonebroom Primary And Nursery School

We want to say a huge thank you to the Friends of Stonebroom for funding our garden transformation!

Our nursery garden is loved by all of our children but the continuous use had resulted in the grass becoming patchy. During the winter the grassy area becomes extremely muddy and we have to close it off. 

The Friends of Stonebroom have allowed us to purchase rolls of astro turf, which has now created an all-weather area for the children to use.

We will no longer need to close off the area in wetter months and the children can use the area in all weathers.

The fabulous Mrs.Bird spent the day fitting the turf and ensuring that it is safe for the children to use when we return to school.

Another big thank you to all involved in transforming the area - we can't wait to see the children's reaction and see them enjoying the area all year round!
