Stonebroom Primary And Nursery School

This week we had a whole class Forest School session due to the Jubilee celebrations on Thursday. We had a fantastic time visiting the animal park and impressed all of the adults with how well we remembered safety around the fire circle. Miss Thompson lit the campfire and we foraged for water cress to have with our bread and soup. We visited the pond area and the meadow to learn about foraging and how best to leave the plants for others to enjoy. The vegetable soup was lovely and lots of us came back for seconds! Once again, an amazing session learning outdoors and class behaviour was brilliant! We can't wait to continue our sessions next half-term!
