It's hard to believe there are just four school days left!
I want to take the opportunity to inform/remind you about certain information.
Monday
This is the day that we will be filming. I have asked some children to bring their costumes from home - it is clothes that they have told me they have readily available. They DO NOT come in these clothes, but they need to bring them to school for filming.
Wednesday
As we can't go to Twinlakes, the children will be staying at school until 6pm. Staff from school are going to play some games with them and join them for some food which will arrive at school at 5pm. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £3 to help cover costs.
Thursday
The leavers event will take place at 12.40pm. We will start with a picnic - you can either bring your own or order one from school - and then we will watch the end of the production (or all of it - see below) before handing out record of achievements and awards. The plan is to have the whole event outside. If anyone has a gazebo we could borrow, that would help shade the TV screen, then please could you contact me via email - j.walmsley@stonebroom.derbyhsire.sch.uk
Orienteering Trip

The Production
I am hoping to put some episodes of the play online next week - starting Monday at 6pm. However, there is a chance that this may have to change and we have to watch the whole thing on Thursday instead. Whilst I can point the camera and film, I'm not sure how to edit and the person helping me - Miss Gill - is unfortunately unavailable. I am going to try and learn over the weekend. I will let you know more on Monday!
