As part of our farm topic the children tidied up our gardening area and planted lots of vegetables in the vegetable patch. The children have also planted sunflowers.
The children are working really hard at maintaining the garden by digging up the weeds and watering the plants each day. Yesterday, we noticed that our tomato plant had grown enough tomatoes on for us to all try one! The children were so proud that they had grown the tomatoes and were very excited to try them. We can't wait for the other fruit and vegetables to be ready. The radish won't be long!
