The children will be having their fire safety talk remotely this year.
FIRE SAFETY TALK
At this time of year, the children usually receive a visit from a member of the Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service to discuss fire safety. Unfortunately, due to covid, this is no longer possible therefore they emailed us yesterday to ask us to carry out the session remotely. I have asked the children to let you know when they are starting the activity as they may have some questions for you regarding fire escape plans, smoke alarms or fire in general. I have given them the opportunity to ask me and I will put all of their questions together in a video at the weekend. I have also told them they can get in touch with me at school should they wish to do so (01773 872 449).
