If your child is due to start school in September 2020 they should have brought home a homework pack this week.
The children have been given a packet with a reading book and a reading diary in it. They also have some letters and numbers to practice.
Inside the packet there is also a leaflet to help you help your child at home. Try to read together as often as possible but try to aim at doing at least 10 mins of practice, 3 times a week to give your child the best start. If you feel like doing more than this then go ahead!
Please could the children bring their packs to school every day so that we can check how they are doing and change the reading books on a regular basis.
