What a fantastic day! The children have really enjoyed their day at the farm and we got to do lots of different things. We were able to feed the sheep and the goat – it tickled when they ate the food from our hands. We saw a milk demonstration - Freya the Farmer showed us how to milk a goat. One of the goats was a little bit naughty and kicked a bowl of milk all over the floor!

We then went in the reptile house where we got to touch a tortoise, snake and lizard! When we went in the silver barn we got to hold guinea pigs, rabbits, mice and chicks. We were very gentle with animals and we were all very brave with the slithery snake.

We were very lucky to go to the farm when there were lots of baby animals. We saw kids, piglets, chicks, ducklings and calves.

The children were so well behaved and I am very proud of all of them! A big thank you to all the adults that helped us today.
