Year 1 have been very busy during our safety week.
On Monday we had a road safety workshop - we were super at answering questions! On Tuesday it was safer internet day- we read a book called 'Webster's friend' which helped us understand dangers of the internet and we created some brilliant posters. We had an exciting P4C lesson based on internet safety, we joined with the Meerkat class for this and it really got us thinking about the good and bad things about the internet. We have also been learning about electrical safety, we got messy making paper mache lightbulbs and covered these with our top tips. We learnt a super poem with actions about electrical safety- see if your child can show you at home.
