We found Kenya on a map and realised it is a country in Africa. We have done lots of super English based on the book Handa's surprise and we tried new fruits from the book including guava, avocado and passion fruit! We have made African drums and learnt a call and response song. We have learnt all about the animals that live in Kenya and have made amazing safari silhouette pictures. We have started to learn to count in Swahili and finally in PE this afternoon we learnt a dance to the song by Shakira- Africa.
