Dragons - Autumn 12 September 2026 (by Mr Scott (meerkats)) |
We hope you have had a great Summer break.
As the Summer holidays draw to an end, we have been busy preparing our Dragons classroom and learning for Autumn term. We look forward to seeing you back in school next week!
If you click on the link below it will take you to our Big Question page where you will find details of our first Big Question: 'What legacy did the anicent Greeks leave?' The page contains our planning for the half-term, knowledge organiser, sticky vocabulary and class timetable.
Our P.E. day is Tuesday, so pupils should come into school in the correct P.E. kit next Tuesday to learn some hockey skills outside. Details of our first swimming lesson will be communicated next week.
If you navigate to the class Homework page, you will find details of the pre-learning task which was handed out before the Summer break. If pupils wish to complete one of the tasks it should be handed in by Friday 25th September - merits and prizes will be awarded for excellent effort. Pupils were also given a Summer reading sticker challenge before we broke up. Any pupil who has completed the challenge should bring their sheet into school by Friday 11th September. A merit and prize will be given to champion readers.
We hope you enjoy the last few days of the holiday and we look forward to seeing you in class again next week.
Mr Scott & Mrs Hilton.
