Year 2 and Reception pupils were talking history this week!
Year 2 pupils enjoyed learnng about some of Derbyshire's interesting history during our Local History Week recently. We discovered why the village of Eyam is famous, where Florence Nightingale grew up and the impact she had and how horrible it would be to work in a cotton mill. It was worse than coming to school!
Last week we shared some of our learning with Sheep class who also know some fantastic Florence Nightingale facts. Pupils enjoyed comparing what they know, listening politely and asking some super questions.
