Summer 2
Hello everyone,
I hope that you have all had a fantastic half term break and are making the most of the lovely sunshine!
As we head into the new term I wanted to share with you our new big question, which we will be exploring throughout the next few weeks.
This term we will be using lots of our Geography skills to explore the world around us. Lots of our learning outcomes will be taken from the Understanding the World area of our curriculum.
We will explore our own country, England and learn about other countries around the World too. We will find out about people from other countries and what they are like.
We will learn all about what it is like to go on a journey and how to stay safe when we are away from home.
We will hopefully continue to have some lovely, sunny weather too and will learn about how to keep ourselves safe when we go out into the sunshine.
Please make sure your child brings a sun hat to Nursery every day to enable them to play outside and apply suntan cream before arriving at Nursery.
Lots of our children will be going on a very special journey soon to their new year group and class. They will have lots of opportunities to visit their new classroom and meet the new adults who will be supporting them on their next learning adventure.
Please click on the link below to visit our class page, where you will find lots of information about our learning this term and ways in which you can support your children in their development.
If you have any questions or would like to contribute to our Big Question in any way, please speak to a member of the Nursery team. Your ideas and contributions are always warmly welcome.
Thank you.
