We have had an amazing and very busy Art week this week at Nursery!

The art week theme this year is inspired by everything you might find Under the Sea!

We had a very exciting visit from Miss. Walton, our school Art Lead, who showed us how to use a special material called Air dry foam clay.

We all had a go at rolling and shaping the clay using our hands and rollers. We then used the circle cutter to cut out a shape to make a pendant.

We used sea shells to make prints in the clay and then used different tools and techniques to decorate patterns on to our pedant.

The clay needed to be left for 2 days to dry in the warm air before we could start to paint them with super bright colours!

All of our art work will be part of the whole school art exhibition on Wednesday 17th June after school.

But we couldn't wait until then to share a sneak peek at our wonderful work!
