Elephants- a few notices13 April 2026 (by Miss Rowland (elephants)) |
We are so proud of how the children have returned after the holiday- they all had huge smiles on their faces this morning and have worked their socks off today.
Below are a few notices for the upcoming weeks:
- Phonics pet homework will be slightly different this term. As the screening check is fast approaching, we will be sending a practice paper home each week. You are to work through this with your child, getting them to segment and blend the words. It would be helpful if you tick the words that they get the correct and put a dot by those they struggle with. This will help us to see that the homework has been completed but also point out any gaps/ misconceptions that the children have.
- Wednesday 29th April is our medieval day. More information will be coming via email however children can come to school on this day dressed as a medieval character eg. King, Queen, knight, jester, maid.
- Tuesday 5th May is our castle parent workshop. It will take place 9am-10am in the school hall. We will be learning about the parts of a castle before creating our own clay castles. Please sign up using the link below if you can attend.
Thanks as always for your continued support and do not hesitate to ask if you have questions about the above.
