Monkeys - Nursery Class3 March 2026 (by Mrs Beresford (monkeys)) |
A very Special Visitor
This week at Nursery we have been learning about babies and how they grow. We have talked about what we were like when we were a baby and all of the things that we can do that babies can't.
We had a very special visit from baby Florence and her mummy, Mrs. Bainbridge.
Mrs. Bainbridge showed us lots of things that a baby needs and talked to us about how to look after a baby.
We found out and explored what was in baby Florence's changing bag.
We found out that it is important for baby Florence to have tummy time to help make her neck strong and help her to learn to crawl.
Mrs. Bainbridge even let us feed baby Florence. We held the bottle carefully and used kind, gentle hands.
We know that babies can only drink milk!
Baby Florence was a very good baby and was happy and smiley the whole time she was at Nursery.
A very big thank you to Mrs. Bainbridge and Florence for coming in today and to Rupert for letting us share his baby sister for a little while!

Mrs. Bainbridge and baby Florence will be visiting us again tomorrow, as we don't want the afternoon Nursery to miss out - but really Miss Rice and Mrs Beresford just want more cuddles!
