We have had a fantastic first week back at Nursery!

This week we have been learning about Autumn celebrations. We learned about the Hindu and Sikh festival of Diwali - the Festival of Light. The children made Rangoli patterns using chalks and looked closely at the different colours they could see.

We also learned about how fireworks are used within different celebrations. 

We found out about Bonfire Night and how to stay safe around fires and fireworks. We talked about the rules when holding a sparkler and what we must do once it goes out!
