Next Tuesday is our medieval day!
Next Tuesday (20th May) ,we will be holding a medieval day in school for Year 1 pupils, linking to this term’s big question, ‘Who would have lived in a medieval castle?’
On this day children can come to school dressed as a medieval character eg. a King, Queen, Knight, Lord, Lady, maid, jester, the choice is yours! They must however wear sensible footwear to ensure they are comfortable taking part in the day’s activities.
We hope this day will deepen their understanding of castle life whilst providing them with fun, memorable experiences-medieval dancing, juggling like a jester and a grand banquet to name a few!
