On 29th September 2023, Stonebroom Primary & Nursery School will be hosting a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan in support of those living with cancer and remember those we have lost to cancer.
The school's student council representatives are organising a coffee morning in the Children's Centre from 9.00am-11.00am. No RSVP is required. All are welcome, including wider members of the community. Please enter through the gates via High Street. These will be left open for the duration of the event.
We are kindly asking for donations of cakes to sell on the day. A table will be set up on the school playground each morning in the days running up to the 29th September to leave these on. Free refreshments will be provided. There will also be a few games that you can participate in, such as 'Guess the Number of Coffee Beans in the Jar'. Children will be allowed to purchase any remaining cakes at breaktime for a small amount. All money that is raised will go directly to Macmillan.
Come along and join us for a hot drink, a selection of delicious cakes and good company! Every piece of cake that is sold will make a difference.
