Due to numbers - the trip to Leiden, Netherlands, will only be offered to Y6 pupils this academic year. Y5 will be able to go in June 2024.
Yesterday the Headteachers from Stonebroom Primary & Nursery School, Shirland Primary School, Newton Primary School & Westhouses Primary School all met to look at the numbers for the trip to Leiden, Netherlands, which will take place next June. There were 94 applicants for just 50 places, therefore a joint decision was made to offer the trip this academic year (June 2023) to just the Y6 pupils in each school. We will run the trip again in June 2024 and offer it to the current Y5 pupils.
A letter with more details will go out to the Y6 pupils today.
