    Sheep Class - Autumn 2

26 October 2021 (by Miss Gill (sheep))

The children have settled into full time school so well. You should be so proud of your little ones, I know we are!

The big question for this half term is 'Would a polar bear make a good pet at Stonebroom Primary and Nursery School?'

We will be exploring this big question based on the children's interests last half term. The children really enjoyed learning about Matthew Henson and the North Pole during Black History Week and we felt that there was so much learning that could take place from this. We cannot wait to get started when Sheep Class are back next week!

We also have lots of exciting Christmas activities planned! We love Christmas in Sheep Class and we will be VERY busy completing: Christmas craft, Christmas baking, making reindeer food and completing activities around lots of lovely Christmas stories. We will be writing letters to Santa during the first two weeks of December, these will be sent home to give Santa some ideas, so please look out for these in your child's book bag.

Enjoy the rest of your week off and I hope the children have a lovely time on Halloween, I know they were very excited to celebrate!

Please follow the link below to read the medium term plan and to find out what we will be doing weekly during Autumn 2.

    Thank you,

    Miss Gill
