Change in end of school finish times.
Pick up time at the end of the school day today did not work to our satisfaction, and therefore we have had no choice but to make some changes to the collection times of some of the year groups in school in order to comply with the Derbyshire County Council Risk Assessment.
Every parent should have received a text message (this afternoon) stating the time you should collect your child/ren and it is very important that you arrive at that time - no earlier. Once your child/ren have been collected, it is important that you leave the school playground straight away. We will make sure that the children are out of school on time.
The Derbyshire County Council Risk Assessment also states that only one adult can collect their child/ren.
Whilst we appreciate that the end of the school day can often be a good time to socialise and communicate with other parents, it is vitally important that we follow the Derbyshire County Council Risk Assessment for the health and safety of you, your child/ren and members of staff in school.
