Those children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 who were due to return to school on Monday 1st June will no longer be returning on this date.
We have now received notice from the Local Authority (Derbyshire County Council) which says that the DFE guidance to schools lacks clarity and therefore we have taken the decision, along with all primary schools in the Five Pits cluster and Derbyshire to delay the phased return plans until a later date. Therefore we will not be opening on Monday 1st June 2020 to pupils in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & Year 6.
