Stonebroom Primary And Nursery School News

  • In Science we have been learning all about animals.
  • We would like to invite our nursery children to dress up in their Halloween costumes on Friday 26th October.
  • We now have two wonderful living willow frames in our woodland, created by our fabulous Year 3 / 4 children on Wednesday and Friday this week.
  • Disco tickets go on sale this morning on the school yard. They are priced at just one pound!
  • In Reception, we have been looking at numbers 1-5. This week we have been thinking about different ways to represent these numbers. We would like your child to share their learning with you and create number posters at home.
  • The Marvellous Meerkats were great this morning when they performed their Great Fire of London assembly.
  • Donna and Natalie from The Growth Project came for the first of 4 Willow Weaving Sessions on Friday. They brought lots of Willow whips (long, thin branches of willow) and talked to us about the properties of these and how bendy and pliable they are.
