What an amazing Art day! In Year 1 we have learnt about the artist Andy Goldsworthy.
We spent time looking at his work and realised he is different to some other artists because he only uses natural materials in his work. We were amazed by some of his creations and enjoyed guessing which natural materials he had used. In the morning we used a bank of natural resources to print with, make leaf people and re-create his work. This afternoon we went down to the forest and made our own creations! We then fed back to our peers, telling them about the patterns we had made and the reasons for our choices.
